Day 01 – Arrival in Islamabad, Pakistan

Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, the Adventure Touristik team will receive you and arrange your transfer to the hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, the remainder of the day is available for rest, preparation and a trek briefing.

Day 02 – Islamabad to Gilgit / Contingency Drive to Chilas

Accommodation: Hotel

Weather permitting, take a spectacular domestic flight from Islamabad to Gilgit.

The flight offers extraordinary aerial views of northern Pakistan when skies are clear.

Because flights to Gilgit are weather-dependent, a road journey toward Chilas may be used as a contingency if the flight is cancelled.

Day 03 – Journey to Passu, Upper Hunza

Accommodation: Hotel/Guesthouse

Travel toward Passu in Upper Hunza.

The journey follows one of the most spectacular sections of the Karakoram Highway.

Depending on the starting point, enjoy views of the Hunza and Gojal landscapes before reaching Passu, famous for its dramatic mountain scenery and iconic Passu Cones.

Final trekking preparations are completed in the evening.

Day 04 – Trek to Yunzben

The trekking adventure begins.

Enter the Batura Glacier region and gradually leave the settled valley behind.

Day 05 – Trek to Ujhoupirt

Day 08 – Rest and Exploration Day

The contingency day also provides flexibility in the trekking schedule.

Day 09 – Return Trek to Yashpirt

Accommodation: Tent

Begin the return journey through the Batura Valley.

Returning along the route provides new perspectives of the mountains and glacier.

Camp again around Yashpirt.

Day 10 – Trek to Yunzben

Accommodation: Tent

Continue descending toward Yunzben.

Enjoy another day among the dramatic landscapes of Upper Hunza before approaching the lower section of the trekking route.

Day 11 – Trek to Karakoram Highway and Drive to Hunza

Accommodation: Hotel

Complete the final trekking section and reconnect with the Karakoram Highway.

Meet the vehicle and drive toward central Hunza.

Day 12 – Hunza Valley Rest and Sightseeing Day
