Adventure Touristik Booking Terms & Conditions
Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully before making a reservation with Adventure Touristik. They explain how bookings are confirmed, payments and cancellations are handled, what happens when plans change, and the responsibilities of both Adventure Touristik and our travelers.
1. Welcome to Adventure Touristik
Thank you for choosing Adventure Touristik as your travel partner in Pakistan. We organize cultural tours, private and group journeys, trekking and mountaineering expeditions, photography trips, sightseeing holidays, wildlife experiences, family vacations, educational travel, and customized itineraries.
Our aim is to provide professional, safe, transparent, and memorable travel experiences while respecting Pakistan’s communities, cultures, landscapes, and applicable regulations.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By submitting a booking request, paying a deposit or full amount, receiving booking confirmation, or participating in an Adventure Touristik service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
If you book on behalf of other travelers, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that all travelers in your booking have been informed of and accepted these terms.
These terms apply to Pakistan tour packages, private and group tours, trekking and mountaineering expeditions, photography and cultural tours, religious and educational travel, hotel and transportation services, airport transfers, visa invitation assistance, and customized travel arrangements.
3. Booking Channels & Third-Party Marketplaces
Bookings may be made through the Adventure Touristik website, email, telephone, WhatsApp, an authorized Adventure Touristik representative, or an approved travel marketplace.
Adventure Touristik also distributes selected tours through third-party platforms, including TourRadar and Viator (a Tripadvisor company). When a booking is made through a third-party platform, that platform’s booking, payment, customer-service, and marketplace terms may also apply. Where a marketplace’s terms govern a particular transaction, those terms will apply to the extent required for that marketplace booking.
For direct bookings, these Adventure Touristik Terms & Conditions apply together with the applicable tour description, quotation, invoice, and written booking confirmation.
4. Our Commitment to You
We aim to provide transparent pricing, professional travel planning, experienced local guides and support staff, responsible tourism practices, reliable communication, safe transportation, trusted accommodation partners, and realistic information about travel conditions.
Adventure travel in Pakistan can involve remote destinations, mountain roads, changing weather, limited infrastructure, government procedures, and other circumstances outside our control. Safety and guest well-being take priority whenever operational decisions are required.
5. How to Book
- Select a tour, trek, expedition, or customized itinerary.
- Contact our travel team if you need clarification.
- Complete the booking information requested.
- Provide accurate traveler and travel-document information.
- Review these Terms & Conditions and the applicable tour details.
- Pay the required deposit or full amount.
- Wait for written booking confirmation.
A reservation is confirmed only after the required payment has been received and Adventure Touristik has issued written confirmation.
6. Deposits & Payment Terms
For most tours, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required. Certain expeditions, customized itineraries, peak-season departures, or arrangements involving third-party suppliers may require a different deposit.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid no later than two (2) days before departure, or immediately upon arrival at the airport where Adventure Touristik has expressly approved that arrangement in advance.
Bookings made within five (5) days of departure are treated as last-minute bookings and require full payment at the time of booking.
Bank charges, payment-processing fees, and international transfer costs are the traveler’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to pay an outstanding balance by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.
7. Last-Minute Bookings
We accept last-minute bookings whenever operationally possible. However, hotels, domestic flights, vehicles, permits, guides, and activities may have limited availability.
For bookings made less than five (5) days before departure:
- Full payment is required at booking.
- Specific hotels, flights, guides, vehicles, permits, and optional activities cannot be guaranteed.
- Accommodation or transportation may differ from the original proposal.
- Permit-processing timelines may affect trekking or expedition departures.
- Comparable alternatives may be arranged where necessary.
We will communicate material changes before confirming the reservation whenever reasonably possible.
8. Cancellation by the Traveler
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The effective cancellation date is the date Adventure Touristik receives the written request.
Cancellation charges are:
- More than 60 days before departure: 10% of the amount paid is retained as an administrative fee.
- 30–59 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price is charged.
- 15–29 days before departure: 75% of the total tour price is charged.
- 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total tour price is non-refundable.
These charges reflect commitments already made for accommodation, transportation, permits, guides, reservations, logistics, and operational planning. Individual tours, expeditions, supplier arrangements, or marketplace bookings may have additional or different cancellation rules where stated in the applicable booking confirmation or marketplace terms.
9. Travel Credit
Where eligible, a traveler may choose a travel credit instead of a refund. The travel credit is normally equal to 90% of the amount originally paid, with 10% retained as an administrative and operational service fee.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- The credit is transferable to an eligible family member or friend, subject to Adventure Touristik approval.
- It cannot be exchanged for cash.
- It should normally be used within 12 months of the original departure date.
- Only one travel credit is issued per cancelled reservation.
Where a third-party marketplace’s terms govern the booking, the marketplace’s credit or refund rules may apply instead.
10. Cancellation by Adventure Touristik
Adventure Touristik may cancel or suspend a departure where necessary because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, security concerns, road closures, political unrest, public-health emergencies, or other Force Majeure events.
If we cancel a confirmed direct booking before departure, we will normally offer one or more of the following, as applicable:
- A refund of payments received directly by Adventure Touristik.
- Transfer to another available departure date.
- Travel credit.
- An alternative itinerary of comparable or greater value where practical.
We are not responsible for independent expenses paid to airlines, embassies, visa agencies, insurers, hotels, or other third parties unless applicable law or the relevant supplier’s terms require otherwise.
For marketplace bookings, refunds and changes may be administered under the marketplace’s applicable policies.
11. Changes to Your Booking
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change dates, travelers, accommodation, transportation, or itinerary arrangements.
For direct bookings:
- More than 60 days before departure: no Adventure Touristik change fee, although third-party charges may apply.
- 30–59 days before departure: a change fee of US$100 per traveler may apply, plus third-party charges.
- Less than 30 days before departure: changes are generally not permitted unless an exception is approved.
Name changes, flight changes, hotel changes, permit changes, and other amendments may incur supplier or government charges. We will advise you of known additional costs before confirming a requested change.
12. Changes Made by Adventure Touristik
We plan itineraries carefully, but conditions in Pakistan can change. Weather, road conditions, landslides, flight schedules, government instructions, security procedures, local events, and other operational circumstances may require adjustments.
Where a significant change is necessary, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and may offer a comparable alternative, adjust the order of activities, change accommodation or transportation to a similar standard, transfer the trip to another date, or provide a refund where no suitable alternative can reasonably be offered.
Minor changes—such as changes to a hotel, vehicle, meal location, sightseeing sequence, departure time, or local guide—do not normally constitute a major itinerary change and generally do not create a right to compensation or refund.
13. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required for travelers joining Adventure Touristik trips. Your policy should cover the full duration of the journey and the activities included in your itinerary.
We recommend coverage for emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, emergency evacuation, medical repatriation, trip cancellation and interruption, travel delays and missed connections, baggage loss or theft, personal accident, and trekking or mountaineering activities where applicable.
Adventure Touristik may request proof of suitable insurance and may refuse participation where required coverage has not been obtained.
14. Health, Fitness & High-Altitude Travel
Travel in Pakistan ranges from comfortable cultural holidays to physically demanding mountain journeys. Some itineraries include long road journeys, hiking, camping, glacier travel, steep terrain, or remote areas with limited medical facilities.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they are medically and physically fit for their selected itinerary and should seek professional medical advice where appropriate.
Before departure, tell us about relevant medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, medications, dietary requirements, or other circumstances that may affect participation. We will make reasonable arrangements where practical, but specialized facilities and services may not be available in remote areas.
Some itineraries reach elevations above 2,500 metres, including areas around Hunza, Skardu, Fairy Meadows, Deosai, Khunjerab Pass, and K2 Base Camp. Travelers should understand the risks associated with altitude and follow guidance from qualified guides regarding acclimatization, hydration, and activity.
15. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that passports, visas, permits, and other required documents are valid and available before departure.
Passport and visa requirements depend on nationality and can change. Adventure Touristik may provide general guidance, invitation letters, or supporting documents where applicable, but visa approval and immigration decisions remain with the relevant authorities.
Travelers must comply with all applicable immigration, customs, health, vaccination, declaration, and entry requirements in force at the time of travel.
16. Travel Documents During the Tour
For hotel registration, security procedures, national parks, airports, government requirements, and checkpoints, travelers may be asked to provide passport, visa, or identification information.
In some regions, including Gilgit-Baltistan and other northern areas, authorities may require tour operators to provide copies of travelers’ documents. Adventure Touristik may prepare or submit copies where required for legitimate travel, security, or administrative purposes and will handle personal information responsibly.
17. Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers agree to:
- Follow reasonable instructions from guides, drivers, tour leaders, and local authorities.
- Respect local laws, customs, traditions, religions, and communities.
- Treat fellow travelers, staff, drivers, porters, and service providers respectfully.
- Arrive on time for scheduled departures and activities.
- Protect the natural environment and cultural heritage.
- Take reasonable care of personal belongings.
- Report emergencies, illness, injury, or safety concerns promptly.
Failure to comply may affect the safety or enjoyment of the group and may result in removal from the tour where necessary.
18. Code of Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy
Adventure Touristik welcomes travelers from different backgrounds and expects everyone to contribute to a safe and respectful environment.
Harassment, discrimination, physical violence, intimidation, abusive conduct, deliberate property damage, illegal drug activity, illegal weapons, and other unlawful or dangerous behavior are prohibited.
Discrimination or harassment based on race, nationality, religion, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics is not tolerated.
Any traveler whose conduct threatens the safety or well-being of others may be removed from the tour without refund, subject to applicable law. Illegal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.
19. Respect for Local Culture & Communities
Travel in Pakistan is an opportunity to experience diverse cultures and communities. Travelers are asked to dress appropriately in rural and religious areas, seek permission before photographing people, respect prayer times and religious gatherings, support local businesses, avoid offensive behavior, and follow guidance from local guides.
Respectful travel helps protect relationships with host communities and supports responsible tourism.
20. Food & Dietary Requirements
Please tell us about dietary requirements when booking or as early as possible before departure. Where practical, we can often accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, allergy-related, and other dietary requests.
Food choices may be limited in remote valleys, national parks, trekking routes, and high-altitude camps. We will make reasonable efforts but cannot guarantee that every dietary requirement can be met in isolated locations.
21. Delays & Unexpected Disruptions
Travel in Pakistan can be affected by mountain weather, landslides, road maintenance or closures, traffic, domestic flight delays, security checkpoints, public holidays, local events, infrastructure limitations, and emergencies.
When delays occur, our guides and operations team will keep you informed and work to reduce disruption while prioritizing safety. Travelers should allow reasonable flexibility in schedules, particularly on mountain and remote-region itineraries.
22. Photography, Drones & Privacy
Photography is encouraged when it is respectful and lawful. Ask permission before photographing individuals and exercise particular sensitivity when photographing women, children, and elderly people.
Follow restrictions at religious sites, museums, airports, military areas, government facilities, protected sites, and other locations where photography is restricted. Do not use drones where prohibited and do not disturb wildlife for photographs.
23. Personal Safety & Security
Follow safety guidance provided by Adventure Touristik and local authorities. Keep passports and valuables secure, avoid unnecessary cash, use suitable clothing and footwear, stay hydrated, use sun protection in mountain areas, follow road-safety instructions, and inform your guide before leaving the group independently.
Adventure Touristik cannot accept responsibility for incidents caused by deliberate disregard of safety instructions or independent actions taken without informing our team, subject always to applicable law.
24. Alcohol, Illegal Drugs & Controlled Substances
Travelers must comply with Pakistani laws concerning alcohol, narcotics, controlled substances, and other prohibited items. Adventure Touristik strictly prohibits the possession, purchase, sale, transportation, or use of illegal drugs during our tours and services.
Any traveler involved in illegal drug activity may be removed immediately without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Travelers are also responsible for ensuring that any alcohol-related conduct is lawful and respectful of local customs and religious sensitivities.
25. Responsible Tourism
Adventure Touristik promotes responsible tourism throughout Pakistan. We encourage travelers to use licensed local guides where possible, support locally owned businesses, avoid littering, reduce single-use plastic, respect wildlife and protected habitats, stay on designated trails, protect historical and archaeological sites, seek permission before entering private land, and support local crafts and communities.
Responsible travel helps preserve Pakistan’s landscapes and cultural heritage while creating sustainable opportunities for local communities.
26. Force Majeure
Adventure Touristik is not responsible for delays, interruptions, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including earthquakes, floods, landslides, avalanches, severe storms, political unrest, demonstrations, war, terrorism or security threats, public-health emergencies, airport or airline disruptions, road closures, government restrictions, power or communication failures, and transportation breakdowns.
Where a Force Majeure event affects a trip, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives, minimize disruption, and communicate developments. Additional costs caused by such events may remain the traveler’s responsibility unless covered by insurance or otherwise agreed.
27. Responsibility & Liability
Adventure travel carries inherent risks, especially in mountainous and remote environments. We work with guides, drivers, accommodation providers, transport companies, and other partners selected with reasonable care.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Adventure Touristik is not responsible for flight delays or cancellations, natural disasters, political events, road closures, loss or theft of personal belongings, or acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Adventure Touristik’s responsibility is limited to the extent required by applicable law for services directly provided by us.
28. Complaints & Customer Support
If you experience a problem during your trip, please tell your guide or our operations team as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to resolve it while you are traveling.
If the issue remains unresolved, submit your complaint in writing within fourteen (14) days after the end of the trip. Include your booking reference, tour name and dates, a description of the issue, supporting documents or photographs where relevant, and your preferred resolution.
We will review genuine complaints fairly and respond as promptly as reasonably possible.
29. Privacy & Personal Information
We use traveler information to process bookings, communicate with travelers, organize travel services, comply with legal requirements, and provide requested services.
Where necessary, information may be shared with hotels, transport providers, airlines, government authorities, national parks, visa-processing authorities, insurance providers, marketplaces, or other service providers involved in your trip.
For more information, please review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy on the Adventure Touristik website.

Unless otherwise stated, website text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, branding, itineraries, brochures, tour descriptions, and other original Adventure Touristik materials are protected intellectual property.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, translated, republished, or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
31. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
We encourage travelers to resolve concerns through good-faith communication with Adventure Touristik first. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory rights or protections applicable by law.
