These Booking Terms & Conditions have been created to ensure transparency between Adventure Touristik and every traveler. They clearly explain how bookings are made, how payments are processed, what happens if plans change, and what responsibilities both you and Adventure Touristik have before, during, and after your trip.

Adventure travel often involves remote destinations, changing weather conditions, mountain environments, local regulations, and unexpected circumstances. For this reason, we encourage every traveler to carefully read these Terms & Conditions before confirming a reservation. Understanding these policies helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures a smooth travel experience for everyone.

Acceptance of These Terms

By submitting a booking request, paying a deposit, making full payment, or participating in any tour or travel service operated by Adventure Touristik, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Booking Terms & Conditions.

Booking Your Adventure

Booking your trip with Adventure Touristik is straightforward. Our travel specialists are available to help you select the most suitable itinerary based on your interests, travel dates, budget, fitness level, and travel preferences.

Reservations may be made through our official website, by email, by telephone, through WhatsApp or other approved communication channels, or through an authorized Adventure Touristik representative.

How to Reserve Your Trip

1. Select your preferred tour, trek, expedition, or customized itinerary.
2. Contact our travel specialists if you require additional information.
3. Complete the official booking form.
4. Provide accurate traveler information.
5. Review these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully.
6. Pay the required booking deposit.
7. Receive your booking confirmation from Adventure Touristik.

Your reservation becomes officially confirmed only after your deposit or full payment has been received and Adventure Touristik issues written confirmation.

Deposits & Payment Terms

A deposit is required to secure your reservation and allow Adventure Touristik to begin arranging accommodation, transportation, permits, guides, logistics, and other travel services associated with your trip.

For most tours, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required. Certain expeditions, customized itineraries, peak-season departures, or trips involving international suppliers may require a larger deposit depending on operational requirements.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid no later than two (2) days before departure or immediately upon arrival at the airport if this arrangement has been approved by Adventure Touristik in advance.

Bookings made within five (5) days of departure are considered last-minute reservations and require full payment at the time of booking. Availability for accommodations, transportation, domestic flights, permits, and guides cannot be guaranteed for late bookings, although our team will always make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

Payment Policy

• A booking is confirmed only after the required payment has been received.
• Deposits are generally non-refundable except where stated in these Terms & Conditions.
• Outstanding balances must be paid by the agreed deadline.
• Failure to complete payment may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation.
• Additional bank charges or international transfer fees are the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise agreed.
• Adventure Touristik reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where payment obligations have not been fulfilled.

After payment has been received, our team will issue a booking confirmation together with any relevant travel documents, itinerary updates, or additional information required before your departure.

Last-Minute Bookings

Adventure Touristik understands that travel opportunities sometimes arise unexpectedly. We are pleased to accept last-minute bookings whenever operationally possible. However, because hotels, domestic flights, transportation, permits, guides, and special activities often require advance confirmation, availability may be limited for bookings made close to the departure date.

Reservations made less than five (5) days before departure are considered last-minute bookings. These reservations require immediate confirmation and full payment before services can be secured.

Although our team will make every reasonable effort to arrange your preferred itinerary, Adventure Touristik cannot guarantee the availability of specific hotels, transportation providers, guides, domestic flights, or optional activities for late reservations.

Important Information for Last-Minute Travelers

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Accommodation options may differ from the original itinerary.
• Transportation schedules may be adjusted based on availability.
• Permit processing times may affect certain trekking and expedition departures.
• Alternative hotels or services of a similar standard may be provided when necessary.
• Adventure Touristik will always communicate any unavoidable changes before confirming your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change due to personal circumstances, emergencies, or unexpected events. Our cancellation policy has been designed to balance flexibility for travelers while covering the costs already incurred in organizing your tour.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The effective cancellation date is the date on which Adventure Touristik receives your written request.

Cancellation Charges

• More than 60 days before departure – 10% of the amount paid will be retained as an administrative fee.
• 30 to 59 days before departure – 50% of the total tour price will be charged.
• 15 to 29 days before departure – 75% of the total tour price will be charged.
• 14 days or less before departure – 100% of the total tour price is non-refundable.

These charges reflect expenses already committed to accommodations, transportation providers, permits, guides, operational planning, and other travel arrangements.

Travel Credit Option

Instead of requesting a refund, eligible travelers may choose to receive a travel credit voucher that can be used for a future Adventure Touristik trip. This option provides greater flexibility while allowing us to minimize operational losses associated with cancellations.

Travel credits may be used by the original traveler or transferred to an eligible family member or friend, subject to Adventure Touristik's approval.

Travel Credit Conditions

• The voucher value equals 90% of the amount originally paid.
• A 10% administrative and operational service fee will be deducted.
• The voucher is fully transferable.
• The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
• The voucher should normally be used within 12 months of the original departure date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Only one travel credit may be issued per cancelled reservation.

Travel credits provide flexibility for travelers while allowing Adventure Touristik to continue supporting local guides, accommodation providers, transportation companies, and tourism communities throughout Pakistan.

Cancellation by Adventure Touristik

Although cancellations by Adventure Touristik are extremely rare, there may be situations where we must cancel a departure due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These situations may include natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, government restrictions, political unrest, public health emergencies, insufficient participant numbers, road closures, security concerns, or other force majeure events.

If Adventure Touristik cancels your confirmed tour before departure, you will be offered one of the following options:

• A full refund of all payments made directly to Adventure Touristik.
• A transfer to another available departure date.
• A travel credit for future use.
• An alternative itinerary of equal or greater value where practical.

Adventure Touristik is responsible only for payments received directly by our company. We cannot reimburse costs paid to third parties such as airlines, embassies, visa agencies, insurance providers, hotels booked independently, or personal travel arrangements.

For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, delays, and related expenses.

Changes to Your Booking

If you need to modify your reservation after confirmation, please contact Adventure Touristik as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate reasonable requests, although changes may depend on availability and the policies of hotels, airlines, transportation providers, permit authorities, and other third-party suppliers.

Traveler-Initiated Changes

• More than 60 days before departure – No Adventure Touristik change fee (third-party charges may still apply).
• 30 to 59 days before departure – A change fee of US$100 per traveler may apply.
• Less than 30 days before departure – Changes are generally not permitted unless approved under exceptional circumstances.

Requests to change departure dates, itineraries, accommodation, transportation, or traveler names may also be subject to additional charges imposed by airlines, hotels, government authorities, or other suppliers.

Adventure Touristik will always inform you of any additional costs before confirming changes to your reservation.

Changes Made by Adventure Touristik

Adventure Touristik carefully plans every itinerary to provide the experience advertised on our website and in our tour programs. However, adventure travel in Pakistan often takes place in remote mountain regions where weather conditions, road closures, government regulations, flight schedules, and natural events can affect travel plans.

While we always aim to operate every tour exactly as published, there may be circumstances beyond our reasonable control that require changes before or during your journey. Any modifications made will always prioritize the safety, comfort, and overall experience of our guests.

If We Need to Change Your Itinerary

Should a significant change become necessary before departure, Adventure Touristik will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on the situation, we may:

• Offer an alternative itinerary of equal or greater value.
• Provide comparable accommodation or transportation where available.
• Adjust the order of activities while maintaining the overall experience.
• Transfer your booking to another available departure date.
• Issue a refund if no suitable alternative can reasonably be offered.

Minor adjustments, such as changes to hotels, transportation providers, meal locations, sightseeing order, departure times, or local guides, do not constitute a major itinerary change and generally do not entitle travelers to compensation or refunds.

Travel Insurance Requirements

Adventure Touristik strongly believes that comprehensive travel insurance is an essential part of responsible travel. Because many of our tours visit remote mountain regions where medical facilities may be limited, every traveler is required to obtain suitable travel insurance before departure.

Your travel insurance policy should remain valid for the entire duration of your trip and should adequately cover both planned activities and unforeseen emergencies.

Your Insurance Should Include

• Emergency medical treatment.
• Hospitalization expenses.
• Emergency evacuation.
• Medical repatriation.
• Trip cancellation and interruption.
• Flight delays and missed connections.
• Loss or theft of luggage.
• Loss of personal belongings.
• Personal accident coverage.
• Coverage for trekking or mountaineering activities where applicable.

Travelers may be asked to provide proof of valid insurance before departure. Adventure Touristik reserves the right to refuse participation if appropriate insurance coverage has not been obtained.

Health & Fitness Requirements

Pakistan offers extraordinary travel experiences ranging from comfortable cultural holidays to demanding high-altitude expeditions. Some itineraries involve long road journeys, mountain hiking, glacier crossings, camping, or travel in remote regions with limited medical facilities.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically, mentally, and medically fit for your chosen tour. If you have any concerns regarding your health, we strongly recommend consulting your physician before confirming your reservation.

Medical Information

Before departure, travelers must inform Adventure Touristik of any medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, dietary requirements, medications, or other circumstances that may affect their participation or require additional support during the journey.

This information enables our team to prepare appropriately and make reasonable arrangements wherever possible. However, due to the remote nature of many destinations, specialized medical facilities or dietary options may not always be available.

High-Altitude Travel

Several Adventure Touristik itineraries travel through high-altitude destinations such as Hunza Valley, Skardu, Fairy Meadows, Deosai National Park, Khunjerab Pass, K2 Base Camp, and other regions above 2,500 meters (8,200 feet). Travelers should understand the potential risks of altitude sickness and follow all advice provided by our guides regarding acclimatization, hydration, and physical activity.

Passports, Visas & Travel Documents

Each traveler is solely responsible for ensuring that all required travel documents are valid before departure. Adventure Touristik can provide general guidance regarding Pakistan visa procedures; however, obtaining the appropriate visa and meeting immigration requirements remains the responsibility of the traveler.

Passport Requirements

• Your passport should normally remain valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure from Pakistan.
• Your passport should contain sufficient blank pages for immigration stamps where required.
• Damaged or expired passports may result in denied boarding or entry.

Visa Requirements

Visa regulations differ depending on your nationality. Travelers should apply well in advance and carefully review the latest requirements issued by the Government of Pakistan before departure.

Adventure Touristik may provide visa invitation letters or supporting documentation where applicable; however, the final decision regarding visa approval always rests with the relevant government authorities.

Additional Entry Requirements

Government regulations may change without prior notice. Travelers are responsible for complying with all applicable immigration, customs, vaccination, health declaration, and entry requirements in effect at the time of travel.

Traveler Responsibilities

Adventure Touristik is committed to delivering professionally organized travel experiences, but successful journeys also depend on the cooperation and responsibility of every traveler. Guests are expected to act respectfully, follow safety instructions, and contribute positively to the group experience.

During Your Tour You Agree To

• Follow instructions provided by guides and tour leaders.
• Respect local customs, traditions, and religious beliefs.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Treat fellow travelers with courtesy and respect.
• Protect the natural environment and cultural heritage.
• Respect hotels, campsites, vehicles, and public property.
• Arrive on time for scheduled departures and activities.
• Take reasonable care of your own belongings.
• Inform our team immediately if an emergency or safety issue arises.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may affect the safety and enjoyment of the group and could result in removal from the tour in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Responsibility & Liability

Adventure Touristik is committed to operating safe, ethical, and professionally organized tours throughout Pakistan. We carefully select experienced guides, licensed drivers, reputable accommodation providers, and trusted local partners to deliver exceptional travel experiences. However, adventure travel involves inherent risks that cannot always be eliminated.

By joining one of our tours, you acknowledge that travel—particularly in mountainous and remote regions—may involve unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Adventure Touristik.

Adventure Touristik Is Not Liable For

• Flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections.
• Natural disasters including earthquakes, floods, landslides, avalanches, or severe weather.
• Political events, civil unrest, strikes, or government restrictions.
• Road closures or transportation disruptions.
• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
• Actions or omissions of airlines, hotels, restaurants, transport providers, or other independent third-party suppliers.
• Medical emergencies resulting from undisclosed health conditions.
• Consequences arising from failure to follow the instructions of guides or local authorities.
• Personal decisions made independently of the tour itinerary.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Adventure Touristik accepts responsibility only to the extent required by law for services directly provided by our company.

Code of Conduct

Adventure Touristik welcomes travelers from around the world and is committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. Every traveler plays an important role in maintaining a positive group atmosphere throughout the journey.

Guests are expected to behave responsibly, respect local communities, and follow the instructions of our guides and tour leaders at all times.

Expected Traveler Conduct

• Treat fellow travelers with kindness and respect.
• Respect local customs, religions, and traditions.
• Follow safety instructions provided by guides.
• Respect hotel staff, drivers, porters, and local communities.
• Avoid behavior that disturbs other guests.
• Help protect Pakistan's natural and cultural heritage.
• Report any safety concerns immediately.

Adventure Touristik reserves the right to remove any traveler whose behavior threatens the safety, enjoyment, or well-being of other participants. In such cases, no refund or compensation will be provided.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Adventure Touristik maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward illegal activities, harassment, discrimination, violence, and conduct that places other travelers or our staff at risk.

The Following Conduct Is Strictly Prohibited

• Sexual harassment or any form of inappropriate behavior.
• Physical violence, intimidation, or abusive conduct.
• Possession, purchase, sale, or use of illegal drugs or narcotics.
• Carrying illegal weapons.
• Deliberate damage to property.
• Discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
• Any activity that violates the laws of Pakistan.

Pakistan has strict laws regarding narcotics and controlled substances. Travelers are solely responsible for complying with all local laws throughout their visit.

Any violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.

Pakistan is home to diverse cultures, languages, traditions, and religious communities. One of the highlights of traveling in Pakistan is experiencing its rich cultural heritage firsthand. Adventure Touristik encourages every traveler to approach local customs with curiosity, humility, and respect.

Many of our tours visit traditional villages, historic mosques, Buddhist heritage sites, mountain communities, and family-owned businesses. Respectful behavior helps preserve these relationships and creates meaningful cultural exchanges.

We value punctuality and strive to operate according to international tourism standards. However, travel throughout Pakistan—particularly in mountainous regions—can occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond anyone's control.

Many of our tours travel through remote valleys, high mountain passes, national parks, and rural communities where infrastructure differs significantly from major international destinations. Flexibility and patience are important parts of adventure travel.

Whenever delays occur, our guides and operations team will keep you informed and work diligently to minimize disruptions while prioritizing your safety. Changes made during the journey are intended to provide the best possible experience under the prevailing circumstances.

Required Travel Documents During Your Tour

For security and administrative purposes, travelers may be asked to provide copies of their passport, visa, or other identification documents before or during the tour. These documents may be required by hotels, government authorities, national parks, airports, or security checkpoints throughout Pakistan.

In several regions of Pakistan, particularly Gilgit-Baltistan and other northern areas, police and security checkpoints require tour operators to submit printed copies of travelers' passports and visas. While this procedure may seem unfamiliar to international visitors, it remains a standard administrative requirement in many areas.

Adventure Touristik may prepare printed copies of your travel documents before departure to facilitate smooth travel through these checkpoints. Your personal information will be handled responsibly and only shared with authorized authorities when legally required.

• Follow photography restrictions at religious sites, museums, military areas, airports, and government facilities.
• Respect any requests not to take photographs.
• Avoid using drones where prohibited by law.

Personal Safety & Security

• Immediately report any emergency, illness, injury, or suspicious activity.

Adventure Touristik cannot accept responsibility for incidents resulting from travelers intentionally disregarding safety advice or acting independently without informing our team.

Alcohol, Illegal Drugs & Controlled Substances

Pakistan has strict laws governing alcohol and narcotic substances. Travelers are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws throughout their visit.

Adventure Touristik strictly prohibits the possession, purchase, sale, transportation, or use of illegal drugs during any tour or travel service operated by our company.

Visitors may occasionally hear about locally produced traditional beverages, including the well-known homemade drink commonly referred to as Hunza Water. While this beverage has historical and cultural significance within certain communities, it is generally produced privately and is not regulated under commercial food safety standards.

For health, legal, and safety reasons, Adventure Touristik does not recommend consuming homemade alcoholic beverages. Any decision to consume alcohol remains entirely the responsibility of the traveler, who must also ensure full compliance with Pakistani laws and respect local customs and religious sensitivities.

Any traveler found possessing or using illegal drugs during the tour will be removed immediately without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Force Majeure

Adventure Touristik shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, changes, or cancellations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control. These events, commonly referred to as Force Majeure, may affect the safe operation of your tour despite careful planning and preparation.

Force Majeure events may include, but are not limited to:

• Earthquakes, floods, landslides, avalanches, storms, or other natural disasters.
• Political unrest, civil disturbances, demonstrations, or government restrictions.
• War, terrorism, or security threats.
• Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies.
• Airport closures or airline disruptions.
• Road closures or damaged infrastructure.
• Unexpected government regulations or travel restrictions.
• Power outages, communication failures, or transportation breakdowns.

If a Force Majeure event affects your itinerary, Adventure Touristik will make every reasonable effort to provide suitable alternatives, minimize disruption, and keep you informed throughout the situation. Any additional costs arising from such events may remain the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise covered by travel insurance.

Complaints & Customer Support

Adventure Touristik values customer satisfaction and continuously strives to improve the quality of our services. If you experience any concerns during your journey, we encourage you to notify your tour guide or our operations team immediately so that we have the opportunity to resolve the matter while your trip is still in progress.
